SYNOPSIS FOR: Foxtrot
The movie Foxtrot tells of a parents’ nightmare when Israeli soldiers arrive at their door with the tragic news that their son has died in the line of duty.
Their son was stationed in a desolate desert outpost where nothing much happened and the soldiers wondered what was their purpose and counted the days until their tour ended. Then, out of nowhere, senseless tragedy strikes.
His mother is inconsolable and his father appears to be in shock. Their agony and grief palpable. One gets the sense that the loss of their child has had an overwhelming psychological impact on their lives.
