SYNOPSIS FOR: Ghost in the Shell

Ghost in the Shell is a live action American adaption of one of the most popular Japanese animated series of all time. Set in the near future, Major Kusanagi, played by Scarlett Johansson, is a cyber-enhanced robot that has been assigned to the counter-cyber terrorism task force known as Section 9.

When the task force investigates a new criminal (Michael Pitt) who threatens Hanka Robotics and the scientists who created him, Major discovers that she is not the first of her kind, as she has been led to believe, and strives to determine her true identity.
