SYNOPSIS FOR: Red Riding: 1974
Three directors are tackling three feature films about “The Yorkshire Ripper,” a name given to Peter Sutcliffe – a man who led authorities on a manhunt between ’74 and ’83. In this first part of the trilogy, A cocky, young news reporter investigates the disappearances of young girls. The deeper he digs, the more he gets caught in a dangerous web of lies, corruption, and perversion.
