SYNOPSIS FOR: Dunkirk
Dunkirk is a wartime thriller based on actual events in World War II. Allied forces find themselves surrounded by the German army and stranded on the beach at Dunkirk.
Their only hope of rescue is by sea, but with the Germans attacking from the air the allies seemed about to die or be captured. A halt order issued by the German High Command gave the allies time to organize an evacuation. Operation Dynamo saw 330,000 Allied troops rescued off the beaches of Dunkirk.
