SYNOPSIS FOR: Detroit
Detroit is a historical drama commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Detroit Rebellion in 1967.
Civil unrest erupted in the city after the police raided an unlicensed, after-hours bar known as a Blind Pig. A city-wide curfew was enacted and the Michigan National Guard was brought in to patrol the streets.
Over a period of 5 days 43 people died, 1,189 were injured, over 7,200 were arrested, and more than 2,000 buildings were destroyed.
